Flying Mouse Cursor

Hi,

Just got a Mac Pro a couple weeks ago. I'm using the same mouse and mousepad I had before but now my mouse just randomly flies across the screen.

Any ideas?

It's the surface below the mouse.

Make sure you have a 'textured' surface below the mouse (as in, visually texture). Anything too plain and the mouse will get confused...

is it a mighty mouse? That happens all the time to me when I use any apple mouse.
