depends how savvy you are. you'll need to pull your head unit and run some cables behind the dash or steering column.this is exactly what ive been looking for!! how much was it? is it easy enough to do a DIY installation?
probably. in theory the device should function with any input option. a catch may be that the factory head unit ffd/rwd/next/previous controls actually function as ipod controls when the head unit is fooled into thinking it is a cd changer, but i'm not sure if xm will afford the same options.Wonder if this will work with an aftermarket stereo that is XM ready and has the aux inputs for that??
from experience they will overcharge you if you purchase the unit from them. get the unit on ebay or through the manufacturer and have car toys install it. ...so far every time i have had installs done by them i've had to spend several hours fixing their work.EDIT: If I have time, I'll visit one of the local Car Toys to inquire about this product.
