Settings are not clear on which notifications work for an allowed contact.

Contact- yes. FaceTime app - no, because the settings says allowing the contact allows notifications. Which I assumed applies to FaceTime.

I had the issue on 15.2 but since I’ve been on the 15.3 beta it’s worked by just allowing the name then allowing calls, iMessage and FaceTime whilst in sleep mode

But wouldn’t that allow calls and FaceTime from everyone?

Then what is the point of adding a contact?

I look at it as you are saying you are ok with this person contacting you and they can contact you using this app that I selected. Test it out and see if it works that way.
