I’ve seen a recent theory that it will look kind of like this…

This phone has a 3.5 inch display on the outside and a 6.1 inch display on the inside with a full 16X10 aspect ratio.

Removing Face ID on a 2026 device sounds like a recipe for a commercial disaster. "This is the best iPhone we ever made, now we 2012 technology".

Maybe the 2nd or 3rd generation will get it as a “new” feature.

Too long years waiting for this ideal solution which delivers a big screen in a small form factor device. And if we consider the long cycle battery, is easy to predict it will be sold by tons despite of the price.

Everything seems good and exciting except two things. Lack of FaceID and the two cameras. Would like to have three cameras just like the Z Fold. Think the Apple foldable will miss out on the zoom lens and that will be a huge disappointment.

I thought Apple moved on from Touch ID in iPhones. It would seem weird to regress. Although then again, they use Touch ID on the power button of the iPad, iPad Air and iPad Mini so it's not totally out of the realm of possibility.

Same here, I’ve been waiting for foldables at least since 2019 as is well stated in my signature, and I’m still waiting.
