Foldable MacBook Screen Extender Q

Hello all, Has anyone tried one of the Foldable Screen extenders ? Thinking of getting on for my daughter for her MB ? I know nothing about them but would like to get her something decent. Thank you for any insight. The picture below is just to show what I am talking about.

That may look snazzy, but I'm thinking it would be a real pain to handle "in real life"...

I have a USB-C display that is probably functionally equivalent; that works fine. The biggest concern I'd have about that system is the weight. My MBP 16" is pretty well balanced & could probably handle "Some" additional weight on the display but two extras might over-balance it. Probably worse on a 14".
