Hi All,

Ok, this is driving me insane.
I have tons of music on my computer each seperated into folders.

Is there a way i can drag a folder into iTunes, and it will automatically create the playlist based on the folder name?

I dont want to manually create a playlist, then copy the music, as there are quite a few folders.

Even advise on other non-iTunes apps appreciated.
I used to use Winamp+ml_ipod in the past which will allow to do this, but they dont currently support iPod Touch FW 4.0.

Any help please?

Thanks

add them all to itunes, go to recently added and select them all with the command and add to playlist.

@SlovakApple - that will just add all the music, not create playlist.

@Biker - same goes. I need different playlists created for each folder with music inside.

I understood what you meant. But I think there is no single command/function that would do that - add the folder and create a playlist. I can imagine the way proposed by Biker is the best.

Perhaps move beyond the 1990s music organization would help.

Once you have music in iTunes making playlists is very easy.
