HELP! I have a folder full of private work documents (1.5Gb) that I have been hiding by adding the .log suffix. When I add this suffix it just looks like a normal .log file and nobody is any the wiser (except me!). When I've wanted to access this folder I simply remove the .log suffix, and hey presto the log with all my files reverts back to the original folder, and I have access to the contents once again. My problem now is that when I remove the .log suffix it reverts back to the folder, but the contents are not there anymore, but when I do a 'Get Info' on the folder, it shows that the folder is still holding 1.5Gb of my documents! I've tried to restart/shut down to see if that helps, but still no joy. :( Does anyone know how I can get these files back to view in the original folder?

I've had a similar problem and for me the solution was create a new folder in the "blank" folder and once it was created, it and the rest of my files were visible... fingers crossed the same goes for you.
