Folder size in Finder

I added a view option to view size of items listed in Finder but I cannot see size of folders. Yet if I do get info on the folder I can see the size. How can I make the size show up in the finder info column?

In View>Show View Options, check "Calculate all sizes".

Be aware that this can slow, or make it seem slow, the opening of folders.
