Hello Mac Pros,

I'm new to Mac so forgive. I've searched without a satisfactory answer to my concern.

In my documents stack I have folders 1) Microsoft User Data and 2) Excel files.

I'd like to remove them from stacks but each attempt I have tried will delete the folder. Since they are Office 2008 folders I'd like to retain the native file structure.

What should (can) I do to eliminate these folders from the stack?

Thanks in advance from a Mac newbie.

This sometimes causes problems, I don't recommend it.

Actually, I think what I did was move Microsoft User Data to ~/Library/Application Support/ and then place an invisible alias to it in the ~/Documents/ folder

I hate apps that put folders in ~/Documents/ for no good reason.

Thanks. I try your suggestion.
