Who can't afford the internet today?
Like me but I know a lot don't. Empathy had me sign the petition - and Apple agreed.
You are the one who don’t know what the HELL you are talking about . Come on mac forum and complain people can’t afford internet. They can sell their iPhone or Mac in that case to pay for internet. So they can watch Charlie Brown.Sorry but you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. You must not be from a city
some people here just don’t get it. They think the only people who signed the petition are the ones without Internet lol
I don't care if it's "free" on Apple TV+, I'm not going there. Nobody buys exclusive rights to a show without expecting something out of it. Glad it's on regular TV still.Pretty silly given that, even if you owned no Apple TV-capable devices, you could still watch it in the browser (which is presumably something you have access to if you can sign the petition!).
To be fair, for every buyer there's also a seller, and the Peanuts owner sold out. I would even say Apple is being generous here, even though I'm staunchly opposed to the deal.Corporates that buy up anything that they can get their hands on, ring fence it and demand payments for everything are not the "good guys".
It's not very obvious on their website, but these are free to watch with no Apple TV+ account, just a regular Apple account. If it weren't, my answer would be don't pay for something you're not happy about. We paid money for it. Why do those people can watch for free? I'm confused about why you are confused?
Nowadays it's very easy to avoid a show that you don't like. It makes you sad that some people just like the show? We're not talking about something that corrupts their minds or gets them addicted, it's a short holiday special people watch on rare occasions.Apple will probably stick a big Apple TV+ ad right there in the normal PBS sponsor area.
I hated the series as a kid, and I'm sad to see that this is going to be foisted on yet another generation. This show needs to die a miserable death. Seriously, church is more interesting.
