Hi

Just about to do the MacPro thing.

This is a good time to review what I do with my fonts. I have always used Suitcase and will look to buy Suitcase Fusion.

Is it worth it, or is there a different option? Do people just use FontBook with the same success?

I am using mainly print software - Quark, InDesign, Illustrator/Photoshop plus the Macromedia stuff for web work.

I need to be able to collect fonts and various sets without always opening the application up.

Your experiences would be helpful.

Don't bother with Suitcase. Try the free Linotype FontExplorer X, first. In many cases it behaves much better than Suitcase X, IMOm and it supports a whole range of fonts better than OS X' own Font Book.

Just downloaded it and am giving it a go. Looks great to me thank you very much.

You've just saved me 70 Quid!
