Typefaces show correctly on-screen...but when printed they are replaced with a different font.

I get the bulk of my fonts from school (graphic design student), which don't run on Leopard yet.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling the fonts to no avail. I'm considering doing a clean install, since I've been wanting to do some spring cleaning anyway, but I don't think I'll have much success with that either.

Any suggestions? I'm dying to find out, thanks!

Did you ever figure this out?

I am having the same problem and can't figure it out.

Fonts look right on my screen.
When I print them on either of my two printers, they print in a substituted font.

Even if it is a pdf with fonts embedded...
PDF on my iMac running Leopard LOOK right on screen, but PRINTS wrong.

The same pdf, on my husband's iBook laptop, running the previous OS, printing to the SAME printer, looks and prints right.

I can also bring the pdf to work, where I run Leopard, and that pdf look/prints fine.

Oy vey.
Please help!

Thx it works!

It took me two nights trying to fix the problem but this one did the trick! thank you!!! I can finally go to sleep now.
