I'm trying to increase the font size of my mac, but I can't find it anywhere. I should be really simple to do so I'm probably missing something.

On windows you just right click the desktop > appearance and bang.

How can I do it on the mac? Oh and I don't want to increase the font of safari or finder, i already know how to do that, what I'm looking for is a way to make all fonts bigger (including menus)... just like you do on windows, make all fonts 1.2 times bigger.

Thanks. Ah, and lowering the resolution is not an option because everything gets blurry.

Thanks!

For the desktop you can do this.

For every other program you'll have to set it in the preferences or use the universal access to enable magnification, but I don't think that's what you really want.

Another option is to just lower your resolution in system prefs>display.

You can use TinkerTook.

Do you have a high res ? I had to finally return it because the fonts were too small.

There is no way to change 'all fonts sizes', UI, menu's etc as you can in Win7.

Yes i can change this but I can't change the other fonts. Menus, text inside menus.. like when you click the Apple > system preferences > i want to change the fonts on those kind of menus.

That's for every program... has to be a system wide font increase.

Thank you!

I understand you want the system wide change, which is why I gave you all those different options to change it bit by bit. Not optimal I know, and not really a good plan, but there is just no simple, one change does it all, unless you change the screen resolution, as I said in the last choice.
Best of luck though, I hope you find something that works for you.

?

Is that true? Lol can't be real.

I'm 29 and I can barely see it, imagine how many people won't see a thing on this.

There has to be a way, and it should be very obvious. I can't imagine a 50yr trying to hack a mac to make fonts bigger.
