I used an app called Duality to apply a theme to OSX, when I get home I'll check the name of the theme and PM it to you or post a link.

another font related question...is it possible to make appleworks and stuff show the actual font in the font menu?

Ok, the theme is called "Brushed Aqua 1.6", I couldn't find it again on the web so I have put it on my iDisk, if you want it get it here .
Just copy the .theme file inside the DMG to /library/themes then run Duality to select it.
