We have quite a few casinos in our area, I like them, cheap food, has Apple Pay, and a lot of events, mostly concerts. The casino even sponsored the large arena here, Talking Stick Resort Arena. Phoenix is already well developed, just could use better public transit. Valley Metro buses and trains already serve all the casinos, but don’t run late enough. I have a players card with three of the casinos here, and every so often I get free stuff just by having the card. More cards I wish would live in Apple a Wallet instead however.

They definitely can have perks if you enjoy that entertainment. However, have a few in a major metro area is not the same as a relatively rural are (>50,000) getting its first one.

Would you feel differently if that were the case, or no?

If the town is economically depressed, the jobs could help. But honestly, Atlantic City was supposed to be a utopia by now, but it's still depressing as ever. Casinos seem to help the state way more than the places that they're located.

To be fair, New Jersey is a ********.
