For everyone expecting their iPhone 5 after October 10th...

Ordered my iPhone 5 (white, 16gb) on the 2nd October - Still processing with an estimated delivery date of 25 Oct, 2012 - 31 Oct, 2012.

The strange thing is, Apple have taken money out of my account for my phone. I'm pretty sure they don't usually do this until the phone has shipped - or is this a pre-authorization thing?

Just got shipment email from VZW that my iPhone 5 32GB has shipped. I ordered on 9/27 and today is 10/10. The estimated ship date was 10/26, so it shipped 16 days earlier. That's more then two weeks. Its estimated arrival is 10/12. I have heard that 32 and 64GB and shipping faster then 16GB.

if you have the money on you you can just call your local wal-mart, target, best buy, or radioshack and do a walk-in. Or test your luck by going to the apple store first thing in the morning, they should have it now that the phone demand has died down a little.

hey, any updates on the status of the order for those who booked 2 weeks ago? for me it still says processing. i booked on the 4th of oct ( singapore online store ). expected delivery is 30 oct -5th nov. ? should i worry??

No change for me. I ordered a black 16GB on Oct 7th from US online store. Still says "Delivers Nov 7 - Nov 14"; still in "Processing Items" status. No changes since about 24 hrs after I placed the order.

My order changed to preparing for shipment earlier today. and now it says shipped. it was quite fast. 7 hours back it was saying processing. now its shipped. i guess apple is making up for the lost time. anyhow, im relieved and happy
