i just chatted with apple and got some good information idk how accurate they are but it seems interesting it might calm our nerves a little bit. it could be some corporate bs but maybe it wont be as clogged as we think

is that a joke i dont even know what that is hahaha its the pictures of the chat i had with "clare" the apple expert
 
That's weird. I could have sworn when you asked the rep what activation day would be like she would say "It's going to be hell. The servers will crash. You will get the wrong phone number. It's going to be miserable."
 
I was able to open it - here's what it says:

Caller: Is the iPhone 4 activation going to be a problem?
AT&T: What's an iPhone 4?
Caller: The new iPhone that's coming out on 6/24?
AT&T: Huh. Hadn't heard about that. Let me check.
AT&T: Ok - yes - there is a new iPhone coming out.
AT&T: Would like to pre-order one? I can place the order and cancel it for you over this chat.
Caller: No thanks. Are you anticipating any activation issues?
AT&T: Oh no - we have FIVE Dell PCs running Win98 devoted entirely to activation.
Caller: Awesome.
AT&T: Thanks for using AT&T!

Well it was a big deal last year and a HUGE deal for the 3g is I remember correctly.
