For recent 17" MBP buyers, is the loose hinge issue still a problem?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if the loose hinge that I read about online is still a recurring problem in recent builds of the 17" MBP. My 2nd 15" is on it's way to me, but if it's still yellow, then I'm gonna be upgrading myself to the 17". Thanks

Is there a way to tighten hinge?

The 17" MBP I just got seems to have a very loose hinge. If I pick the laptop up at an angle, the screen will flop down on its own. That being said, it seems to stay at whatever angle it's placed when the laptop is on a desk.

Does anybody know if there's an easy way (i.e. do it yourself) to tighten the hinge?

My old Powerbook G4 came with a hinge so tight it creaked during the first year of opening it and now, after four years, it still is tighter than my new MBP.

The guy in the apple store said the genius bar would do it for me if it was too loose for me.
