As we all know, DRM-free songs are coming to iTunes in the US and Europe. Apple has confirmed that NZ will get the DRM-free versions too, and they will be $2.49 each. Presumably full albums will still be $17.99. The release date is yet to be confirmed, but it'll probably be at the same time as the US and Europe (ie. sometime in May).

He's referring to the price in NZ$ which is worth even less than the US$.

Well, they're here, and they changed their mind: They're $2.39. Albums are still $17.99, and I've already bought one

Song upgrades are 60 cents. Unfortunately, album upgrades are $5.40 (I haven't confirmed either of these prices as I hadn't bought any EMI albums, but I've seen them mentioned online).
