EDIT: 24/04

Could this mean they get it on release date? I ordered at 8:06am

I'm hoping that's the case. I ordered a 42mm space gray Watch Sport with black bands and the email conformation shows delivery dates via standard shipping between April 24th and May 8th.

I think 24/04-08/05 was the default blurb, so anyone ordering at bang on the dot should be 24th, with them being sequential afterwards depending on order time before it hit the next date range. Until Order Status is back up, no-one will know definitively their exact date.

Of course it does, what else could it mean!? :p

Yes it is obvious but some here and in other posts seem to think it means something else. Especially people used to United States Date format.

I ordered the SS Milanese 42mm (UK) between 8:01:15 secs and 8:01:55 secs via the app on the iPhone, and I have a delivery date of 24/04-08/05.

Couldn't order any quicker. The app only went live for me seconds after 8:01am, the main site didn't go live until 8:09am here.

I got that date as well and my order was completed mere moments after going live (just after 8:01 on the app) so I guess it's just fingers crossed for closer to the 24th than the 5th of May. But having waited this long, what's 4 weeks.

A bloody lot to an impatient chappie like me lol.

Ordered at 8:02/8:03 and I have those dates.
Yup, there was never (to my knowledge) anyone being told that they were guaranteed to have it delivered on precisely 4/24. Everyone got that window into May, which is a helluva large delivery window if you ask me.

My hope is either that:
1. They will get production up fairly quickly to accommodate those early orders, with the size of that delivery window just being Apple covering their asses.
Or 2. They will be able to deliver to at least the people who ordered in the first 2-3 minutes (like you and me) on the 24th, fulfilling orders in the order that they were received.

Mine literally says:

Shipment 1 Delivers: 24/4-8/5 by Standard Shipping

i'd assume Shipment 1 means the first day of Delivery. Does anyone elses say any different?

Me, too. My confirmation e-mail is timed 08:01.

That just means you ordered 1 item. If you ordered 2 it would say shipment 2 for the second.

My guess is that the ship times are overly conservative and a lot of us will get them on launch day. Same thing happened with the iPhone 6 and I still received mine on launch day.

Or I could be full of crap, who knows :D
