I think the best way to imrpvoe your s peed adn efficienncy is ot not loko at teh kyeborad whlie yuor'e tpying.. .
seriously: The 'piano theory' worked well for me. My piano teacher used to hold a book over my hands while I was playing, so as to teach me accuracy while hitting the keys - you start out slow of course, but maintain the accuracy as you practise and get faster.
