I was one of the IUP members that didn't get much of a selection if at all for reservation. So I've been checking a few times a day and noticed that the inventory has been changing. Tried my luck just now and was able to score a 128g black 7+ at my local store for 9/16. If you're in the same boat, give it a shot.

They definitely added quite a bit of inventory today. I was quite familiar with the scattering of 7s (mostly Sprint) that were available at my local stores. Today I was able to reserve a 9/16 timeslot at a local store for the 256Gb Verizon 7+.

Yes. Good call. Just checked my local store and all 7 plus models available for all categories in all colors except JB. Black was available. Pickup 9/16.

Just checked and reserved a 7+ black 128gb for 930am 9/16. Thanks for the heads up. I was still waiting on a call back from the Apple IUP specialist well after the 48hr promise.

Something very interesting. I was just able to reserve for pickup on Friday. I am in the
IUP and was awaiting a callback from Apple. However, if I search inventory for the same store, not logged into my account, it shows nothing available. Looks like Apple is making phones available for its Upgrade members.

Was able to reserve two phones tonight to upgrade the 2 that I already have on the IUP.

However due to this answer, I'll be purchasing them full price, immediately paying off the 2 phones on IUP to sell them, and will enjoy my phones payment free!
