Could you describe your usage? It would help. Thanks a lot!![]()
I suggest you do this:
Make a back-up on your Mac/PC in iTunes. This copies ALL your data (Here is a list ). Than wipe the phone with iTunes. Now you have a clean copy of iOS 8.2 install the apps you normally use from the App Store. Use your phone for 2-3 days. See how battery life is now.

Mh, I think my battery life would improve thanks to this method even if I didn't have a software problem in my backup. When you make a clean install with just a few apps and data, it's normal the battery lasts way more. The problem is making your battery work well with a decent amount of stuff on your phone (which should be normal...).
That's my last result, with a lighter usage (50% 3G, 50% Wi-Fi).
Yes, I disabled mail fetch (just push and manual now), transparency and motion; and my usage was lighter today. But when I use my phone, especially outside, it doesn't go beyond 3 hours of usage... that is annoying. That usage looks pretty good for an iPhone 5. Much better than what you were getting before.
Okay, I'm going to investigate...Yes, it should remain connected to WiFi and not connect to cellular for data. You could tell by watching your cellular data usage.
I left the phone on a table for 2.5 hours and it used 75 KB of data (Exchange and push). This means it used the 3G and not the Wi-Fi only (in fact it went down from 85% to 80%). Is this normal?Yes, it should remain connected to WiFi and not connect to cellular for data. You could tell by watching your cellular data usage.
