I am wondering how large the co-relation is between the number of crashes that occur and how many and/or what apps you have? I have deleted most of my apps and it appears to have resulted in less crashes.

I do have a few but there seems to be no difference from the time I had none to now as far as crashes go. I think some apps run in the background? Maybe that's why there could be somewhat of a link?

I think Safari crashes if you have too many tabs open, and also some sites just don't like the safari browser on the iphone like forbes.com.

I doubt there's a link, I have 2 pages of apps, one of the stock ones and the other ones I barely use..it usually crashes even without using the ipod..but today I was viewing this forum and it crashed on me,I reopened safari, hard quit it holding the home button for like 5 secs, resetted safari under settings, history cache and cookies, rebooted the phone and while viewing the forum again, and listening to the iPod it crashed on me

it has nothing to do with how many apps you have installed.
