If you know you are going to upgrade this fall (assuming the normal Apple release schedule)....based on the following
- there will will be a 4.7" and a 5.5" option
- regardless of specs
Are there any of you who know already which phone you will choose based on size alone? That is really my curiosity. We don't know the final specs for 100% certain so I don't even want to speculate. My question is for those who will upgrade purely based on size....which will you choose? Even after two years I am still on the fence.

I'm going to try out the Plus. I've had the 6 for a year and like it, but I think the Plus may be even better for me. I want it to be usable with one hand tho. I'll never know which size I like best until I try both, so may as well try the 5.5 this time around and if I don't like it I'll swap out for a regular 7. (Oh and btw go cubbies!)

I don't like small screens neither, but i like a certain privacy when my phone is open. I tried both the 6 and the 6 Plus, tried the plus first then went back with the 6. I have relativaly small hands so 6 had the perfect size

Appreciate the responses. This has been a back and forth thing for a while for me. At 6'7" I can do 90% one handed on the plus. On the 4.7", 100% and with ease at all times. The plus has such a big gorgeous screen for viewing, but the 4.7" can disappear on your person whereas I always know the plus is there. I feel more private on the 4.7, but the plus is better for intentionally showing pics and vids.
Oh well, guess I'll be torn another year. Far worse things in life.

I want it to be usable with one hand tho. I

Get a Loopy case. One handed use of a + sized phone is a piece of cake. Also you'll never ever drop it. Impossible.

Using a + phone without a Loopy case is just asking for troubles.

at this point should'nt the 4.7 inch get a 1080p screen and the 5.5 maybe 2k to be in line with what most android phones have

Prefer the smaller one but considering the larger if the camera is a big enough difference plus other rumored pro features.

I haven't decided yet but since I recently got an iPad Air 2 I'm considering going back to 4.7" for the price difference and the fact that one handed typing is slightly easier

After using plus model for two years i am going for the 4.7 version this fall

I admit it's kinda of difficult to say for certain what one will do, not knowing the final design and specs. But I figured some might have a solid idea based on size alone. I'm getting more used to this 5.5" phone, my hands are enormous, but there's something about that little 4.7" stealthily lil phone that draws me in.

I'm thinking I'll have the same dilemma. The 5.5" seems like it will be great for battery and screen size, not to mention to dual camera which is another main reason I'm gonna try it out. But then I love my 4.7" now tho. We'll see in a couple months when it comes out!

I prefer the 4.7" regardless of specs. I swore off large phone after about 7 months with a Note.

Don't get me wrong the screen real estate, resolution and battery are great just I find it a little bit too unwieldily for phone.

I will stay with Plus sizes. Got use to it very quickly. Do watch movies on it at work when not busy.

For those of you that like larger sizes, I'm glad you have choices. I currently have a 5s and will probably, with the advent of Ios10, will move over to a iPhone SE. I prefer the smaller screen, fit in my pocket size. I don't really care about Touch ID and would prefer to keep a standard headphone jack. I believe the SE will future proof me for several years before I go into the nursing home. /s
