I love this type of case

Isn't it a pia to take it out of a pouch everytime? Not really going naked that way imho.

Exactly

The leather case from apple is the way to go, perfect fit, slim, looks good, full functionality at all times.

That pouch idea seems more suited to an item that is rarely used, not a phone.

I bought the sfbag pouch for naked phone. I bought a previous iphone one and it had a loop in the bottom of the pouch where I could hang onto while sliding the phone out. The one for my 6 plus does not have the handle and I find the fit to be very snug. If my phone rings I would have trouble getting the phone out before voice mail picks up.

I'm thinking about returning it.

Anyone know of a nice pouch that can be attached to your belt -- not directly via a loop but via a short strap so it dangles a little?

Thanks!

Joli workmanship is better and who wants "Ryan" in huge letters on their case?

I emailed them about this very same thing and they replied saying it can be ordered without the wording "Ryan" you just have to request it.

Did you get one with the pocket or without the pocket? Apart from the snug fit was there anything else wrong with the sleeve?

I don't understand how carrying your phone around in a pouch can truly be considered "going naked".

And if you don't like cases because they take away from the thin form factor, why would you want to carry your phone around in a pouch that adds even more bulk to your pocket, purse, backpack, etc.?

Not knocking doing things this way, btw. OP's reasoning just doesn't make sense to me lol.

It's not fully naked, but is a good halfway-house. This way you get to enjoy the phone fully, when you're using it, but you have decent protection against damage in your pocket. I had a Beyzacases Zero on my 5s, and it hardly added any bulk (maybe 1.5mm) . In fact, because the pouch rounded of the corners, when you held it in your hand, it actually felt thinner.
A nice slim leather case can also have aesthetic appeal, like having a nice wallet. Is it the most efficient way to protect your phone, probably not, but it can add a classic edge to modern technology like the iPhone.

I ordered the one without the pocket. The sleeve is real nice and thin. I think I should have ordered one for case and use it without a case.

For when you want to toss it in a backpack, tote, etc. with other crap or are in some situation where you want front/back protected and aren't using it.

Pretty simple

Anyone got the green one and care to comment how accurate that picture is? Getting my Gold 6 today and think that green case would really set it off :D Bare in mind this will be first time I strayed from black, so thinking maybe I should go "wild" with the case aswell :D (Wife said she would take the phone next month and give me her upgrade if I changed my mind, so not as brave as I sound).

Also although its much cleaner without the pocket, I've become accustomed to having one in my current sleeve. Very handy to keep my Oyster (touch payment for tube) in and on nights out just slip a card and money in there, leaving the bulky wallet at home. Can anyone comment if it will fit a credit card easily and wether it ruins the look of the case aesthetically? Its quite an expensive case so don't want to make a mistake :/

The purpose of the pouch is for transport. During actual usage the phone is naked.
