iPod touch For what I'd use it for...

I'd simply use my iPod Touch to listen to music, watch movies, and check Gmail. With those three interests in mind, would I have any problems?

No, thats what its for...hopefully the iPhone's Mail app will be ported to the touch in the next few days (with a simple install method soon after) 🙂

No problems that I can think of. You just may have to use the basic HTML version of Gmail as the regular one can be slow and a little buggy in mobile Safari.

Once a jailbreak app is made for the iPod Touch, you'll be able to load mail.app, plus some other applications as well. The missing apps are available on some torrent sites, or if you don't want to use bittorrent, I'd be happy to send them to anyone.
