Not really familiar with Forbes - recognise the name but not much more. Didn't realise it had a "reputation"!Ah, Forbes, the organization that tells me to change my Gmail password every week and says the FBI has access to everything I own. Some of the worst tech reporting out there.
Doesn't mean it's not factual reporting, but they do resort to a lot of scare tactics and superlatives. Hard to take them seriously when they say the sky is falling every week just to float to the top of my Google News feed. Not really familiar with Forbes - recognise the name but not much more. The usual fearmongering to push-up the install numbers of the new iOS and to proudly proclaim widespread "love" and adoption for the "best iOS ever"... 🤮
I like a company with verve and gall. Go Apple. This bothers me so much ...
If you're going to force it down everyone's throat, don't have the audacity to also talk about "how popular the new OS is!".
It's just incredible gall.

..which Apple hasn't responded to, or "fixed" in any of the 26.2 updates released since then. It still works fine.

Head to Apple’s developer website and you’ll see they don’t make an IPSW for any of the latest iOS 18 builds available for devices that can run iOS 26. Over the air delta updates, sure, but if you have to do a full restore it’s gonna be iOS 26.Complete in total nonsense.
18.7.3 RC is currently available through the beta channels, for *all* iOS 18 devices, including all of those that can update to 26.
