Force close & Re-activate TouchBar

Hi there

Is there a way to force close the TouchBar and re-open again via macOS?

I use an app to prevent my MBP going to sleep when I close the lid (InsomniaX). But when I open the lid again the TouchBar is shut off. I guess the app isn't optimized yet for TouchBar MBP's.

Is there a way to re-open the TB manually?

In the terminal you need to enter

sudo pkill "Touch Bar agent"
sudo killall "ControlStrip"
