I had a few gigs of photos, videos and other files in my Macbook Pro running 10.7.3 for a while now, and just got around to finally deleting the trash. It has been stuck with about 25% more to delete for a couple hours now. What should I do?

Thanks.

Force delete it.

With this rm -rf ~/.Trash/* in Terminal.

Or hold option and hit empty trash.

To get rid of the progress window, hold Option and right-click Finder in the Dock, then choose Relaunch.
