how is it that not a single post has referenced a potential use for force touch with gaming?

Force touch would allow developers to do far far more with gaming if they added different functions based on the intensity of the press, for example:

1) in first person shooters: the harder you press, the faster you shoot, or, a hard press instantly changes your weapon

2) puzzle games: the screen could start to vibrate softly (using the haptic feedback engine) if you're close to solving a puzzle, and would vibrate harder the closer u get

Other) force touch could be use as a quick function like pause the game, restart a level, take a photo etc.

Do u recon apple have thought about this? Or will they only use it for other useless things like "define a word".. Honestly the only advantages I see with force touch is haptic feedback whilst typing, and gaming..

Another scenario: in car racing games, right thumb and press = gas, left thumb and press = brake. The intensity of presses determine how quick the car accelerates or stops.

Exactly, it really would bring a new dimension to gaming

For me its not what apple will do, but individual developers. I think force touch is the most exciting new feature well see, as Im sure there are going to be some very imaginative applications used in apps, especially games.
