Forced Bundling

Did you encounter forced bundling at any stores today? One store I visited required a bundle with a tablet to get an X on launch day. Another forced the purchase of an overpriced case and screen protector.

I hate stores that do that.
Seems to be happening during each release. Very shady approach.

This wouldn't happen at an Apple Store. I mean, sure, they would be happy to sell you MORE add-ons to/for your phone, but they've never been pushy with me. Whereas, at both Verizon corporate and resellers/dealers, they absolutely do have a mandate to get customers to purchase as much as possible - what we call hard-sell in marketing. It's gross, but as long as you're aware of what you want, and your budget...and you can be firm(!) with them, you'll be ok. Sorry that happened to you, man.
