iPhone Forecast Weather

anybody got this working correctly now its supposedly out for 8.1jb....it just crashes for me and have to start in safemode.....anyone ??
 
It shows that its supposed to be in the doc on the thread for compatable apps if you add the developers beta repo. I installed on my 6 and it rebooted to a black screen so i hard booted (home/power) and was in safe mode - so aparently its not updated.

Anyone know if this resolves the fact that Forecast no longer shows animations on 7.x?

Wait! Just realized I have the beta repo installed so I do have the latest update. Might work with 8.1 but has impacted animations on 7.1.2 on my device.

OP, do you happen to have a 6 or 6+? I ran into a similar issue on my 6. Once I install forecast, the springboard tries to respring but then just shuts my phone down. I have to home + power reset it to get it to wake up. It then starts in safe mode. As soon as I remove the beta forecast I'm fine. Don't have any other lock screen tweaks so I find a conflict pretty unlikely. Might just be incompatible with the newest phones.

I am also having the same experience on my iP 6.
 
whoops forgot all about this....yes its a ip6 i have so it looks like it doesnt like 6;s as everyone else with a 6 has the same problem....5;s are ok tho.....hmmm well thats buggered it then will have to wait until the official update comes and see if that works....cheers. for all the replys guys
 
Forecast was just updated, but it still says 'Unable to Purchase'. So I guess it still does not work on the 6?
 
There is an update if you're using dba-techs repo (3.2.0-47+debug) however it still doesn't work on the iPhone 6 (at least not mine). Had to boot into safe mode to remove it.

Crashes on respring and makes the device too hot to hold. Won't even boot.
 
yeah just tried it and same result crashes phone on respring.....bah wish theyd fix it sharpish 😕
 
I owned it on ios7, so I don't have the buying issue, bug I can confirm that it works on my 6 (been using it for a week). Even plays nice with Upscale.

I'm having issues with mine on my 5s. It doesn't seem to be reading my weather data. I always get the popup telling me to open my weather app and it just shows -- for temp. Anyone else getting this?
