on my mac, for years, when i install a new OS, i run an app called "monolingual", to remove all foreign language files (in my case, i only need english).

is there an app like this for the iphone? would be great...

    anyone?

What exactly are you trying to do? You won't really recover any usable space, since such things are stored on the system partition, which is a fixed size. Unless you are running out of space on that partition, I don't see any point to this -- even if it were possible.
