Why would Apple need to create a monstrosity like that illustration when a solution exists right now?
so apple can sell it bundled with the iPad and game devs know players have it and can develop games that take advantage of it, right now devs only make touch bases games.

Step 1: purchase a Steelseries or PS5 controller (or use one you already own).
Step 2: pair controller to iPad via Bluetooth.
Step 3: play games using said controller.

That monstrosity already exists. It's not a made up image, and there are others on the market like it. But you're right. The one actual gaming tablet out there is the ROG Flow with the AMD Strix Halo and it doesn't have a controller like that either.

IF you use one of the game subscriptions like Ubisoft or Xbox you can play a lot of AAA games in the browser and thus a play on any device. I have used both services within the last 10 months and played various modern titles on my iPad with a PS4 controller without issue.

I don't think Apple is going to somehow take the gaming market by storm no matter what they do. Part of gaming is the culture and part of that culture is your PC. With zero options to upgrade a Mac they just don't fit in. And I can't forget the most important part of gaming rigs and that is RGB lights, Apple is severely lacking in RGB lighting.

GamePass is a game changer, no question, but with MS boosting the price, that's making that sub a lot less attractive. I think if you play a lot of AAA games or care about day 1 releases - that might make more sense.

I've been unimpressed with the xbox streaming service, but then I'm a PC player and the streaming is console based.

I canceled it as well, not enough games I wanted to play on it and that was before the price hike. I think Microsoft is killing themselves with the gamepass. The Xbox itself is doing horribly as well, I would not be surprised if they dropped it completely and moved more into the streaming realm. Wider audience, monthly recurring revenues if they can get the pricing right.

I do a mix of both PC and PS5. PS5 is really for GTA6, just bought it used and it had some games on it I have been playing through. Yoti, Hogwarts Legacy, Assassins Creed the one set in Baghdad, Spider Man 2. PC is about to be upgraded just been so busy have not gotten around to ordering everything.

I dropped GamePass when they jacked up the price. I was enjoying the newest Doom Dark Age when they did that, but I can't justify paying that much for a service I may use 2-3 times a month at most.

RGB is nowhere even close to being the "most important part of gaming rigs". You can have all the RGB in the world, but it won't mean jack if you're running an underpowered CPU and GPU on an entry-level motherboard with the bare minimum of RAM. If RGB was as important as you claim, console manufacturers would have adopted RGB to better compete with the PC market.

I guess the sarcasm in that was not as obvious as I thought. I will be sure to add ::sarcasm:: behind it next time.
