Forgot log in password in Sorbet Leopard

On my other PowerBook G4 15“ I am running Sorbet Leopard.
I haven’t been running it for a while and unfortunately I forgot the password.

Is there a way how to still recover it or get into the system?

Or if not, how to wipe it out and install Mac OS 9 or X or even both.
Or Sorbet Leopard again.

Did not work.

Maybe it is not sorbet at all.
How do I bypass that - see pic attached

You can boot from a Leopard install DVD and reset the password from there in the Utilities menu IIRC.

I figured it out.
It was actually right in front of my eyes.
Same as user name 🙃😅

Part of me suspected it might be that but I dismissed it as way too easy a guess. 😂

Which is why it is the safest password— noone thinks it’s that easy!
