Forgot My Mac Password

Hi,

I've been trying to install new softwares online and the Installer asked from my Mac Name and Password. I forgot what was my password, I even tried with the hint it gave but I still couldn't remember it. Is there a way I can retrieveor reset my password without rebooting my whole mac?

Simply rebooting will not reset your password. How can you forget it if you have to use it every time you log in or do many other functions?
