Forgot password, created new account

[Rafagon]

Greetings,

I hadn't been on the forums here on Macrumors in a while, until I got back in earlier today.

I couldn't remember what email address I had used when I was last on here. I could remember my username, which is Rafagon.

I was forced to create the username Rafagon726 in order to get in, and I provided my main e-mail address during the account creation process.

Then I tried the "Forgot my password" option with an email address I don't use often, and it turned out to be the one I had used here on the forums in the past. I managed to reset the password on my long-standing username here, Rafagon.

Now that I'm back into my desired account (Rafagon), I cannot change the e-mail address on it to the one I would greatly prefer to use; it says it's already in use (by my newly created account, Rafagon726).

To recap, I would like to delete the account I just created Rafagon726 so that it'll "free up" the email address I wish to use with my Rafagon account.

I would like to change my E-Mail but can't figure out how to do it?

@CaptTee you should be able to change your email here, sharing your email in a (public) forum is a bad idea.

A moderator removed it, but for a next time. Avoiding is better.
