Can anyone tell me how to recuperate the password, or how to access my computer otherwise? I am locked out!

Take it to Apple they can unlock it, as long as you have proof of purchase...

EFI or OS? A quick google search can show you how to remove it if it's OS. It's honestly a little to easy on macs.

Just follow this to reset the user password. You will lose access to your keychain though.
