forgot to add Applecare+ in the Apple store.

I don't have a physical apple store near me, so how do I go about getting applecare + for what I just preordered?

WTF? I just called apple, and when I was transferred to the AppleCare+ department, the damn computer just said "I'm sorry, but doe to high call volume we can't get to your call, later..."

I got a call through this morning to add Applecare+ to my iPhone 5 purchase, took 25 minutes to do something that simple, but I was able to do it.
