Carrier Forgot to add trade in. Now what?

I selected the ATT installment plan and forgot to add my XsMax as a trade in. Apple online can’t help. They said I should cancel and reorder. That’s puts me in the cue another month. Any Suggestions?

Why not put it up on eBay, you should get atleast what Apple offer for trade-in, if not a little more?

I think your options are:

- Cancel and reorder
- Trade in to apple for a gift card to use for another product (are you going to buy a watch when they are available?)
- Sell the device on swappa or Craigslist

If you had paid in full then I would say yes. But since you are on the ATT installment plan I think the answer is no. You can’t just do a return and rebuy because after the return it will take ATT 24 hours to reset your status to show that you are eligible for another installment plan.

you are correct. I was able to cancel my Apple order and order directly with ATT. TY

I did twice that I purchased something and pick up in store but forgot to select trade in. Apple in store let me trade in as a separate transaction but credit back to my card. They may be flexible.

Sell it yourself, you'll get a way more money from that than by trading it in.
