forgot to backup desktop folders before upgrade

me idiot forgot to backup desktop icons and folders from desktop before upgrade to Mavericks... is there some solution to find them?

If you upgraded (as opposed to a clean install) they should still be there.

What folders/files are you missing?

jes i did a upgrade frome app store...

im missing some folders with word text, pictures, presentations...
