Ok I just printed out my rough draft for my final essay of the quarter and I quit word without saving it!! I was in a car accident yesterday and I was thinking about that and just quit, i know its dumb.

Is there any way I could get it back without retyping everything? Its still in my printer logs.

or is there any programs i could use to convert scanned images of the paper to text I could paste in word?

At least you've got the rough draft. In the time it's taken to draft these few messages on here, you may have been able to start retyping it.

I don't know if there's any way to find it again, but be thankful you hit "print" and that your printer didn't jam or something.

Good luck!

Not sure about recovering the file but I know acrobat pro has a function that will convert scanned images to text. Works fairly well as long as you dont have hand written text on the page.
