Format HDD without reinstalling Mac OS

I am trading in my pb today and the store closes in an hour!! I already backed up my data but i wanna wipe the HDD before i give it over to them so they can't steal any info! I dont wanna reinstall Mac OS because it will take too long and they will do it before they resell anyway! when i insert the DVD it wants me to wipe the disk then reinstall. How can I just format the Hard drive?

When you insert the disk, click "Utilities" in the Menu Bar, then Disk Utility, then erase the drive and select the format, when that's done you can eject the disk and shut the computer down.
