Format Problem with Spy

Don't normally start discussions here but I noticed today that the forum spy isn't showing the whole topic title.

I first noticed it on my iPad and thought it was because of the width of that but then I open it on my 27" iMac.

Is this normal ? the number "5" is missing from the $325

The title is so long that it doesn't fit in the field. The actual title of the thread is truncated to "$32"; it's not a Spy issue.

Ya, I've tweaked it a bit. It was actually the title of the thread that was the issue, not Forum Spy.

There is a character limit on title length. When articles are created, the software can somehow bypass that restriction, which is why you do see some long titles in there. But if a mod tries to edit the title, as happened in this case, the limit kicks in and it gets truncated.

If only the iPad had come with a calculator app preinstalled, we could have figured out that going from $175 to $32 was a drop instead of an increase.
