I'm planning to re-sell my powerpC G4 thats running Tiger. Whats the best way for me to format it. I dont have the OS X CD. thank you for your help.

hm...if youre unable to get the discs; perhaps just uninstall everything and do a clean sweep of the system files, create a new admin account, delete all other users and perhaps just patch the system up and it should be good to go.

might just then clone that set up onto a new blank drive that way the old files might not be retrievable after deletion?

thats all i could think of...

You could probably get a tiger disk pretty cheap on ebay or craigslist. That is really the only way to 'format' the system, unless you clone another mac that was just reinstalled.
