Hi.

A friend of mine gave me a usb stick that has been formatted to FAT16(as disk utility says). The stick is 1GB.

It shows up on my desktop but i can't see anything inside the stick... When i try to eject it,it doesn't let me cause it says that i must quit applications that i've opened....So i guess i need to format it to FAT32. I'm quite sure about that cause i'm totally clueless.

How should i do that?

Open Applications/utilities/disk utility

The stick should show up. Highlight it, then chose to format it.
