Formatting Leopard

Hey all,

I was just wondering if I can do a fresh install & format using my leopard DVD. i.e. I don't want to "upgrade" I wanna format and install. Thanks!

Yes, insert your Leopard disc reboot the computer, booting from the Leopard dvd... use "Disc Utility" from the menu bar to reformat your disc. From there, install leopard as usual.

Yeah Absolutly. Thats what I did as soon as I bought it.

I formatted the drive, and clean installed leopard 🙂 Took less than 20 min on my MBP.
