I am formatting my computer and have a few programs that I can't figure out the Keys for. Yes, I did buy the programs legally but I am still having a hard time with this. The programs are such as Rational Plan/MS/After Effects... Is it true that I can just move the whole program over to my external and after formatting, move it back? Any other ideas?

Contact the companies you purchased the software from. I'm sure they'd be happy to email you your keys.

It's happened to me before and I had no problems.

I actually have but Rational Plan, since it is the old doesn't have my information on record at all, really annoying actaully. And, After Effects says that I have to re-buy the DVDs. Which, obviously I will do, just curious if their is an easier way.

Microsoft though, I am about to call them, I realized that I hadn't yet. Thanks!
