I suspect the problem is on your end. As of mid-late February MacRumors was moved to a new server if I recall. Since then it's been very snappy. Any slow down I've noticed has been the result of my Internet as it persisted when surfing other sites.

As jessica. said, MR has been migrated to new servers
Things had gotten a little slow, but now that has all changed

I would try the usual suspects...

Log out and log back in
    Clear your browser's cache
    Restart your computer
    Reset your router

Disable your extensions and see if that helps.

    Try restarting your router.

MacRumors is as fast as it ever has been.

Probably one of the ad servers causing it.

Maybe the reason why you can connect to this forum so slow is its because the connection of your modem.

We don't use the thread preview hover feature here. I (and many other people, based on previous threads on this subject) find it terribly annoying in that it always seems to be blocking other things I want to click on.
